About King's Lynn

Steeped in history, King’s Lynn is a busy market town with many attractions and a fine a selection of shops.

King’s Lynn was one of England’s most important ports from as early as the 12th century and its maritime history is very much a part of its tradition. One of its finest landmarks is the 300 year old Custom House which overlooks the historical harbour.

The town has an amazing array of historic buildings including the Town Hall, with its unique chequerboard facade.

Be sure to visit True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum, with its beautifully restored cottages, that recreate faithfully, the lives of King’s Lynn’s fisherfolk.
