With a sandy beach and glorious marshland, this is a truly wonderful place to view our feathered friends and really feel at one with nature.

Whether you are into your birdwatching or simply enjoy looking over fresh water reedbeds, salt marshes, lagoons and sand dunes you will find a very accessible site.

The wildlife on the reserve changes with the seasons – from orchids, dragonflies, butterflies and marsh harriers in the summer to great flocks of geese, waders and other migratory birds in the winter.

There is a shop and café where you can buy gifts and enjoy refreshments.
