A stunning demand-responsive route running through the heart of the Vale of Pewsey connecting the two market towns of Devizes and Pewsey. Hop on board for great views of rural Wiltshire.
The Wiltshire Connect 101 service runs as a fixed bus route between Devizes and Pewsey, with some bookable bus stops at certain villages en route.
You can also travel to villages such as Etchilhampton, Patney, Chirton, Marden, Urchfont & Woodborough using the Wiltshire Connect demand responsive “Pewsey Vale” service.

Devizes
A market town in the centre of Wiltshire located in the western edge of the Vale of Pewsey, Devizes is connected by frequent buses to Salisbury, Chippenham, Bath and Swindon.
Places of interest include the Wadworth Brewery, Kennet & Avon Canal and the Wharf Theatre.
Alton Barnes, White Horse
There is a chalk hill figure of a horse dating from 1812, a little more than 1000 m north of Alton. It is based on another white horse hill figure in Wiltshire, the Cherhill White Horse. The figure is the third largest white horse in Wiltshire. The Pewsey White Horse can be seen from Milk Hill (the location of the horse).
All Cannings
It’s great walking country around the village – really special on the hills and calm & pretty (& flat!) along the canal. Whichever route and whatever weather, it’s good to get back home or to the Kings Arms for a cool refreshing drink/nice hot cup of tea with crumpets (according to the season!).
