Scenic Buses win big at the Euro Bus Expo: winning an award from the expert judging panel and being voted the public’s favourite innovation!

Mangopear creative entered Scenic Buses into the Euro Bus Expo’s innovation challenge where exhibitors, visitors and suppliers at the Euro Bus Expo could vote on their favourite innovation.

There were 24 excellent innovations from businesses across the industry and visitors could vote for two days. The top ten nominees would then move to the next stage – the pitches to the judges.

Not only did Scenic Buses make it through to the top ten, but we won the public vote – beating the other 23 innovations to be the favourite amongst the attendees and suppliers at the expo.

After toiling over our 90 second speech, and presenting it to the judges, we waited with baited breath to see which of the 10 innovations would receive an award.

With lots of positive feedback from the judging panel – not least for the philanthropic nature of Scenic Buses – we were awarded with a bronze certificate signifying our excellence and innovation.

Throughout our three days at the Euro Bus Expo we had many positive conversations with operators, local authorities and industry partners about Scenic Buses and how much potential it possesses for the industry.

We’re looking forward to working with operators big and small, up and down the country, to promote their beautiful scenic bus services on the Scenic Buses website and social media platforms.

Keep an eye on the Scenic Buses social media channels over the coming months to see many, many more bus routes being added to the website.

Don’t forget to suggest your favourite routes!

Our pitch…

Hello! I’m Andi and I’m here to talk to you today about Scenic Buses – which is a website that showcases the many fantastic scenic bus routes available in the UK.

It’s an honour to have Scenic Buses be voted for by the exhibitors, operators and suppliers attending the Euro Bus Expo as the most exciting and innovative initiatives in the industry – and I’m delighted to be presenting Scenic Buses to such an esteemed panel of experts.

There are many gorgeous bus routes to explore throughout Great Britain – from routes like the sixes serving Belper, Matlock & Bakewell to the vast TrawsCymru network spanning Wales and even the everyday commuter routes like the 36 between Leeds, Harrogate & Ripon – they all pass alongside rolling hillsides, quaint villages and delicious cafes and restaurants.

These routes are the very best way of exploring our country and many people simply aren’t aware of their existence, let alone their sheer beauty. That’s where Scenic Buses comes in – our website provides readers with stunning imagery, engaging content, fares & ticketing info and lots of information about the things they can do and sights they can see along the way. It’s the one-stop-shop for all your scenic adventures.

Our vision is to drive awareness of these excellent bus routes – particularly to those groups that aren’t necessarily travelling by bus already, especially those on staycation within the UK.

It’s completely free for operators to list their services on the website – and we encourage all of you here today to sign up and get your routes listed.

We’ve already had almost 6 million Google search impressions and over 350,000 page views in the last 16 months and we’re on track for 1 million visitors to the website in 2023 – there’s never been a better time to promote your scenic bus routes.

So join us in our adventure.

Thanks for listening to me – if you have any questions I’d be delighted to answer them later today.
